Dilly’s Tree House is the only professional preschool subscription program available to families and preschools and is grounded in scientific research on how young children learn. The school pre-K version of this product, The InvestiGator Club, is approved by state education departments and early childhood organizations nationwide, has won many high-level national awards, and has been proven to significantly increase learning in reading, math, and science. Thousands of preschoolers have learned with The InvestiGator Club.
The program was developed by creators of Disney’s educational programs, Mister Rogers, LeapFrog, Scholastic, and more. The senior advisory team includes the highest-level and most respected early childhood researchers and practitioners in the world today, including members of the National Reading Panel and former presidents of the International Reading Association and NAEYC. Dilly’s Tree House is specifically designed for young children between the ages of 3 and 5 to help prepare them for kindergarten. Many products have a much larger age span, such as 3-8, but there are huge differences between a 3-year-old and an 8-year-old. A typical 3-year-old has a limited vocabulary, less developed social and physical skills, little or no school experience, and is pre-reading and pre-math. An 8-year-old has had several years of formal schooling, is reading complex chapter and text books, has basic understandings in science, math, social studies and more, and has broader social context and background. Does it make sense that the same materials and activity suggestions can simply be modified or adapted between a 3-year-old and an 8-year-old? It does not.
Kindergarten teachers overwhelmingly believe that social-emotional skills are more important than academic skills when children first enter school and are better precursors of long-term success. Early childhood experts and brain researchers agree that young children learn best through purposeful play and intellectual discovery.
The experts at Dilly’s Tree House know that the development of social-emotional and physical skills are critical to preparing children for school and a lifetime of success. We focus on the whole child, not just on academic skills. The materials and activities in each box emphasize child-adult interactions, physical activities, essential life skills, cognitive skills, and social-emotional development.
Dilly’s Tree House is specifically geared to help young children between the ages of 3 and 5 develop the confidence and skills they need to experience success in school. The activities are designed as models that can be carried over into everyday experiences. So for example, by following the Play and Learn Guide activities for reading a book with your child, you will have ideas about how to read and talk with your child about any book. Activities that use household items, such as sorting socks or setting the table, provide tips and tools to use during other everyday activities, such as grocery shopping or eating dinner.
The activities in Dilly’s Tree House are simple and quick for children and families to do together. There is virtually no preparation, no mess, and no waste. Materials are used over and over again and store in their own box.
We are on a mission to empower as many young children as possible, so we donate superhero packs to children in need. You can help by sharing Dilly’s Tree House with your friends. Learn how you can grow superheroes.

Cordelia “Dilly” Gator is the founding member of the InvestiGator Club. As InvestiGators themselves, young children join Dilly and the other InvestiGators in their mission to learn more about the world and their place in it. Dilly’s Tree House is an inquiry-based program that invites children to be curious, ask questions, and investigate their world. Most of the activities can be done over and over again or extended.
